Gibson for Congress Campaign Update. August 30, 2010

Dear Friends,

Our first debate is behind us, but with 64 more days until Election Day, our incumbent Congressman has yet to agree to another. Last week’s debate was covered by all the media because our campaign promoted it heavily. CBS 6 uploaded the entire debate to the web and you can see it on our website.

Our campaign continues to hold open town hall meetings to discuss issues with anyone interested in attending, while our district’s incumbent is, so far, holding only closed meetings to talk with supporters. We hope you will come out and support Chris next time he is near your town.

With the current tax-and-spend policies, our economy will only continue to suffer as we move into September. This is a clear indication that our nation must change course.

We recognize and appreciate your efforts throughout this campaign, but the next 64 days are even more crucial to our victory. It is now up to all of us, and the first step is to help Chris secure victory on Election Day.
