Dear Friends, Happy Fool’s Day!
A father and son went fishing one day. While they were out in the boat, the boy suddenly became curious about the world around him. He asked his father, “How does this boat float?”
The father replied, “Don’t rightly know, son.”
A little later, the boy looked at his father and asked, “How do fish breath underwater?”
Once again the father replied, “Don’t rightly know, son.”
A little later the boy asked his father, “Why is the sky blue?”
Again, the father replied, “Don’t rightly know, son.”
Finally, the boy asked his father, “Dad, do you mind my asking you all of these questions?”
The father replied, “Of course not, you don’t ask questions, you never learn nothin’.”
Happy April Fool’s Day!

So is Chris also opposed, in alignment with the GOP, to tax breaks for small businesses? His party says “no”. They prefer to continue the tax cuts to the 1% at the expense of the rest of Americans. And will that ever increase our deficit! The GOP calls it a tax hike; it’s really returning to an appropriate tax rate for the richest 1% of Americans to the level it was before Bush said “thank-you” to those who put him in office. Will he vote against his party? Is he in favor of keeping the tax subsidies for the big oil companies that they’ve been given since the 20’s? After all, if Big Oil has enough to buy Supreme Court votes, senators and house representatives, surely they won’t miss the tax breaks we “small people” have been giving them. Your position is, Chris?

Also…viewed the video. One ought to ask, which “whole departments” in particular are you interested in giving the ax when you get to D.C.? He doesn’t say. Sharron Angle wants to ax the Department of Education and the EPA. What will he cut? Doesn’t he owe it to his voters to let them know? I suggest he start with the one billion per month for the GOP’s phony wars.
In conclusion, how many of your constituents ask you about any of these issues and your position? Aren’t you relieved they don’t ask?
